Give Thanks

Psalm 105:1-5

1. Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
make known among the nations what he has done.

2. Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.

3. Glory in his holy name;
let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.

4. Look to the LORD and his strength;
seek his face always.

5. Remember the wonders he has done,
his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced,

Yet another "Thanksgiving" day aproches, and we are (for the most of us that is)Wrapped up in filling our faces with turkey and all the trimmings, but failing to give full recognition to God from whome all things we have came! We tend to pat our selves on the back, and give lip service to God the creator of all!
We also tend to forget that before it was ours, it was His!Let us then ; in all humility and senserity Give prase and honor to God from whome we received these blessings! Do not forget those who are less fortunate than us and have little or nothing for a thanksgiving meal. If at all possable , in spme way share of your bounty, because you never know but that you may be serving an angle!
This Thursday, stop and give genuine prase and honor , and glory to Him who made it possable for you to have such bounty! Give back to God a portion of your increase even to the point of sacrefice! and in all things actknowledge Him!

Thomas,

That is so true. Too many times we don't actually Thank God for what we have. That is what Thanksgiving was all about! Thanking God for the bountiful harvest he provided.

Now most times we end up thanking the cook who cooks the Thanksgiving dinner, but don't thank God for all the blessings he has given to us!

Thank You for this comment. Again you have added to Heavenly Inspirations with your own words.

I can tell that you are a teacher at heart. :)

God Bless You my friend.
